Rajasthan Police | Mobile App based security to be enabled for all vehicles across Udaipur

The Digital Parking mobile app is an innovative approach undertaken by Rajasthan Police to mitigate risks of vehicle thefts as well as increase the probability of quick location and recovery of stolen vehicles, using technology.
Having introduced this concept in Dausa, among three other districts across the state, Udaipur is the fourth in line to get the benefit of this technology, which will alert the police control room of any stolen vehicle entering a public parking space.
As per information provided by the SP office in Udaipur as well as interaction with Manoj Jangid, the brain behind this app, the police control room will be made aware on real time, when a stolen vehicle enters any of the designated public parking spots across the city.
How it will work
Snehlaxmi Innovative Solutions, a Jaipur based start up headed by Manoj Jangid, has developed a Mobile App which will record the users Vehicle Number with his earlier login credentials. Users can enter multiple vehicle numbers in their personal login. Currently, this App, in its beta stage is being deployed across public parking lots across various districts of Rajasthan.
Parking attendants across public parking lots will capture the registration number of vehicles entering their parking lot. This information will be relayed across all the control rooms. Registration of stolen vehicles will be mapped in the App/Software as well. This will allow the alert to be generated. Local police will identify the parking spot and immediately seize the vehicle as well as the user.
Spots that do not have a security guard or attendant will be having a QR code setup. Vehicle owners can register their vehicle by scanning the QR code.
State Crime Report Bureau (SCRB) along with police control rooms across the locations will be equipped with the web based application as well as the control room version of the app. The first phased installation across Udaipur will cover hotels, commercial blocks, industry, malls, coaching institutes, banks, schools, colleges, etc.
In the first phase implementation of this application at Dausa, over 20 vehicles were retrieved using this app. Currently the application is being used by Rajasthan Police Cyber Cell across Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar and Bharatpur. This application is now being implemented in Udaipur. 33 districts across Rajasthan will be equipped with this technology.
Manoj Jangid, in his interview with Udaipur Times said that the next version of the app will allow individual users to download and register their vehicles in the software. He further said that vehicle owners should attempt to use public parking spots so that their vehicles are always safe.
ASP (Udaipur) (Shri. Gopal Swarup Mewara), in his statement said that all public parking spots have been identified and work has begun on the designated locations. Abhay Command Center has also been updated and equipped with the technology. Vehicle thefts will be restricted after the use of this app.

Apr 19, 2019, 07:21 AM ISTसब कुछ ठीक रहा तो आने वाले दिनों में वाहन चोरों को आसानी से पकड़ा जा सकेगा। अक्सर चोर वाहन चोरी करने के बाद शहर में भीड़भाड़ वाले इलाकों और पार्किंग में खड़ा कर देते हैं, लेकिन अब चोर वाहन को पार्किंग स्थल पर खड़ा करते ही आसानी से पकड़ा जा सकेगा। यह सब कुछ संभव होगा द डिजिटल पार्किंग मोबाइल एप से। राजस्थान पुलिस और एक निजी कंपनी के संयुक्त प्रयास से इस दिशा में काम किया जा रहा है और जल्द ही यह सुविधा भरतपुर जिले में लागू कर दी जाएगी। इस संबंध में इस एप पर काम कर रही कंपनी की जिला पुलिस से बात हा़े गई है। समझा जाता है कि 22 अप्रैल से एप से शहर के पार्किंग स्थलों काे जोड़ा जाएगा। गाड़ी के पार्किंग में पहुंचते ही पार्किंग में ड्यूटी दे रहा गार्ड वाहन का नंबर को द डिजिटल पार्किंग एप में फीड करेगा। इसके बाद यह नंबर तत्काल पुलिस के साइबर सेल पहुंच जाएगा। तत्काल नंबर की जांच की जाएंगी और वाहन चोरी के नंबरों से मिलान किया जाएगा। यदि वाहन की चोरी की रिपोर्ट दर्ज हुई तो तत्काल स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंचेगी और वाहन बरामद करेगी। सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि वाहन के नंबर राजस्थान के सभी जिलों की पुलिस देख सकेगी।
ये होंगे चिह्नित पार्किंग स्थल
द डिजिटल पार्किंग मोबाइल एप से होटल, रेस्तरां, अस्पताल, रेलवे स्टेशन, बस स्टैंड, मॉल, कोचिंग संस्थान, बैंक, स्कूल, कॉलेज धार्मिक स्थलों की पार्किंग को जोड़ा जाएगा। इसके बाद जिलेभर के पर्यटन स्थलों में भी यह सुविधा लागू की जाएगी।
कोई भी कर सकेगा प्रयोग
जिन पार्किंग स्थलों पर चौकीदार या गार्ड नहीं लगाए गए हैं। , वहां पर कंपनी ने क्यू आर कोड जनरेट किया है। ऐसे में वाहन मालिक अपने मोबाइल में स्वयं वाहन के नम्बर एप में डालकर वाहन को सुरक्षित कर पाएंगे।

Additional Police Commissioner II Ajaypal Lambba told that “The Digital Parking App” is live and can be downloaded from the Google app s“tore. The people don’t have to call the police control room for reporting stranded and illegally parks anymore.
People will just have to create their own login ID and lodge a report. For this, there is an option of vehicle information in this app. Submit the vehicle number and type of suspected vehicle and its full information will reach the police. Abhay Command Center of the Police Control Room will monitor this app and immediate action will be taken.
This app will make reporting stolen, unclaimed or illegally parked vehicles to the police more convenient for people. This app will streamline the whole process. Vehicles standing in no parking will be seized.
These days illegal parking has become a headache for the police along with the common man. Through this app, locals will be able to inform the police. Also, through this app, the free parking space can be traced easily to book the parking online. The parking will be reserved for your vehicle after online booking.” said a senior police officer.

Now, parking fee payment through QR codes in Jaipur
Jaipur, May 21 (PTI) A contactless system of making payment by scanning QR codes at parking spots is being made in Jaipur to contain the spread of the coronavirus, an official said on Thursday.
Additional Commissioner of Police Ajaypal Lamba said people will now be able to scan the Quick Response (QR) codes of ''''The Digital Parking'''' App and pay at the facility to prevent getting infected by the coronavirus.
Lamba said the measure will help maintain social distancing, especially at the parking in hospitals and other public places.
He said people will be able to park vehicles at free parking spaces through QR code. With this, the record of vehicles going to and from parking will also be digitally protected. Parking space holders, who do not have a digital QR code, can get it from the ''''Digital Parking App''''.
